The 5/8" Inner Diameter (ID) is the sweet spot for modern gas-powered softwash systems (like the AR45 or Comet P40). It significantly reduces back-pressure compared to 1/2" hose, allowing your pump to deliver its full GPM potential and shoot chemical further.

If you are purchasing "By the Foot" to make whip lines or plumbing connections, remember to use 5/8" Hose Barbs. Standard 1/2" barbs will be too loose and may leak or blow off under pressure.
